Only 2 days left before we open for the 2013 apple season! We’re working furiously right up to the last minute to get everything ready for our opening weekend which is this Saturday, Labor Day weekend. We will be open 10am-6pm on weekends and holidays. On weekdays we will be open 10am-5pm.
You may be wondering what’s new this season… This year we’ll be opening up our second apple orchard for the very first time for u-pick. The orchard contains 4,000 more apple trees to pick from and includes 2,000 more Honeycrisp trees. If you love Honeycrisp trees, make sure to visit us to pick your own Honeycrisp apples!
We’ve also expanded our Farm Market and stocked it with even more goodies. An exciting addition to our Country Kitchen is our Dessert Bar which will feature some of the season’s most delicious desserts, many of which showcase our popular apple donuts.
The corn maze will also be opening on August 31. This year’s maze is Scooby Doo themed and the Scooby gang’s Mystery Machine van will be arriving the first week of September. It will remain on display throughout the apple season!
Our Barnyard Activities will be in full swing opening weekend. From our giant swings and pedal karts to the petting zoo and goat bridge, you’ll be occupied trying to figure out which activity to check out next. Our Barnyard activities aren’t just for children. Visitors of all ages love to explore our mini zip line park, test their aim at the apple cannon station, bounce around on our jumping pillow, cheer on their favorite pig at our pig races and laugh during our magician’s comedic magic performances.
